I was playing around with my camera while the paint was drying on this commission earlier this morning and I love, love, love how the lighting angle fell on the mock-hood I made up to drap over the mask.
[I swear - I work sooo hard at my job.]
This teaser is a Sith Acolyte mask from the Star Wars video game. Now, I've made some changes to the design of the mask (please dont sue me George Lucas!) so there isn't/shouldn't be any copyright infrindgement. The lines along the middle mouth area, the filgree work and the crowning lines inbetween the eyes is differen than the one in game to name a few changes I made to the design.
Besides 11 hours of carving , sculpting and painting work (nevermind the hours of photo taking and the soon-to-be volunteered hours of a model to pose in this thing) - this mask is truly winnning my heart. I'm kinda wishing I get to keep it.
Sometime I surprise myself with the epic results of the stuff I get to do for you guys, yeae for surprise!
Anywho, aside form this mask pulling on my heart strings - I've yet to add the green rust to the paint job and finish the bright silver paint. Anouther epic picture of this mask will follow suit upon completion so look forward to anouther deviation about this!
Love what you see as much as I do? Check out my shop AtticRaiders [link] to see if I've got a Made to Order listing for this mask up in shop to purchase. Handmade, cut and custom fitted with padding and an adjustable leather belt for a great fit, this mask is lightweight and loaded with tiny details to transfix the gaze of admirers for hours.
You could custom order this thing but you'd have to sweet talk me into it Message me at masqueray@hotmail.com
By the way - if you dont already love this artist, check out Lindsey Stirling's Skyrim composition. ITs truly epic and a great song to work to! [link]

I dont own Star Wars or anything else about it - just this mask which is heavily inspired by it.
